Emily, who runs a clothing brand, and Maria, a dedicated employee at a television station, are 35-year-old lifelong friends who attended the same private girls’ schools from kindergarten through high school. Despite their busy lives, they continue to meet regularly and spend time together discussing everyday topics such as dating apps, beauty, and work. However, when Sakura, a younger nail technician from the salon they frequent, joins them one day, the two begin to feel increasingly out of place among the trends and younger generation surrounding them. A simple question from Sakura causes Emily and Maria to reflect on their lives, their growing unease, and the expectations they hold for the future. As they confront their feelings about aging, youth, and happiness, the two set out to search for a sense of fulfillment on their own terms.
